Meet the Teacher

Dear Parents,

First of all, please allow me to thank you in advance for sharing your most precious gift with me for the remainder of this school year. I understand that your child has been through a great deal of adjustment over the past few weeks and my intention is to reestablish the stability of their classroom learning experience.

With this being said allow me to share my experience with you. I graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington in May of 2011. I completed my student teaching in the HEB independent school district and therefore am already familiar with their goals for our students. I have a fourth grade student of my own, and was just remarried on New Year’s Eve 2012. Beginning the 2011-2012 school year I was an interventionist exclusively for the first grade at South Euless Elementary, which has given me much insight as to where our students need to be and what it takes to get them there.

I take a fun, structured approach when it comes to teaching. My wish is that my students enjoy their time in class, learn to follow the rules of an excellent student and in turn become an exceptional student. I know that they will finish out this year as successful, responsible students prepared for the 2nd grade and I take full responsibility for making sure that this is accomplished. However, having your help will make my experience that much more enjoyable and successful. I ask that you please contact me at your convenience, any time you may have questions or concerns regarding your child. I welcome any/all communication that you may have that will allow me to create a strong solid foundation for both your child’s and your relationship with myself.

I am extremely excited about the opportunity to share this special time with your child and yourself and once again thank you for sharing your gift with me.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Jackson
